The Syrian army destroyed six of the eight missiles launched by Israeli fighters during the air attack with the help of the “Buk M2” and “Pancir S” systems, said the deputy head of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of the Warring Parties in Syria, Rear Admiral Vadim Kulit.
“After violating the state border of Syria from the direction of Northern Lebanon, six F-15 tactical fighters of the Israeli Air Force carried out an attack with eight guided missiles on November 8 on the facilities of logistical support of the Syrian government forces in the province of Homs. “The on-duty forces of the Syrian air defense are using the Russian-made systems ‘Buk M2’ and ‘Pancir S’, which destroyed six missiles as part of their weapons,” the Russian Ministry of Defense said in a statement.
Kulit also said that as a result of the Israeli air attack in the Syrian province of Homs, minor material damage was caused, as well as that two Syrian soldiers were wounded.
